Midnight MP5 Madness is back by popular demand, and this time the package is even more complete.
The original setup paired the Lee Sporting LS5 trigger housing with the Atrius Forced Reset Selector, creating a modernized MP5 control setup with improved ergonomics, AR-pattern fire control compatibility, and a much more refined selector interface.
For this return, we’re adding one important piece directly to the package:
A compatible Slip Trip is now included.
Why This Combination Matters
The Lee Sporting LS5 and Atrius Forced Reset Selector are both strong upgrades on their own, but making them work together cleanly requires the right interface.
That is where the Atrius Compatibility Plug comes in.
Lee Sporting developed the plug specifically for use with the LS5 housing and Atrius selector system. It controls selector travel and prevents over-rotation, helping the two systems work together as intended.
Combined with the included Slip Trip, the Midnight MP5 Madness package brings the key components together in one setup instead of leaving customers to source the missing pieces separately.
What Is the Lee Sporting LS5?
The LS5 is a billet aluminum trigger housing designed for MP5-pattern firearms.
One of its biggest advantages is ergonomics. The LS5 shifts the firing hand approximately 0.6 inches forward and 0.4 inches closer to the bore axis, creating a more natural hand position and giving the MP5 a more modern control feel.
The LS5 also supports compatible AR-pattern fire control groups and uses a CNC-machined 4140 steel ejector lever that is heat-treated and nitride coated.
Depending on the model, additional features include adjustable shelf-height inserts and a 50D buffer designed to short-stroke the bolt carrier and help prevent hammer override.
What Is the Atrius Forced Reset Selector?
The Atrius Forced Reset Selector is designed to provide three selector positions:
SAFE, SEMI, and FULL-SEMI.
Rather than replacing the entire fire control group, the Atrius system is built around a compatible selector design and supported mil-spec AR-pattern fire control components.
The selector itself is made from heat-treated 4140 steel and uses a 90-degree throw with positive engagement between positions.
Paired with the LS5 platform, it creates a very different control experience from the traditional MP5 trigger housing.
Why We Added the Slip Trip
On the original Midnight MP5 Madness release, customers needed to source a compatible Slip Trip separately.
After seeing how the complete setup came together, it became obvious that including it directly with the bundle made more sense.
So that is exactly what we did.

Compatible platforms include many popular MP5-pattern models from HK, PTR, Century Arms, Zenith, Dakota Tactical, MAC, and POF.
Because MP5-pattern receivers can vary due to manufacturing and weld tolerances, minor fitting may still be required.
